Celebrating Rene 2022

René saved all sorts of memorabilia during his long career. Since his passing, some items have become keepsakes for members of his family and close friends, and others have been donated to academic archives. In winter 2022, René’s family chose to share additional items that would be most appreciated by his many, many fans and offered them via eBay to raise money for charity.

This auction was ongoing, with new items added every few days throughout February and March 2022. By the end of the auction, we had donated over $10,000 to Médecin San Frontières/Doctors Without Borders and other worthy organizations. Thank you to everyone who participated for your generosity!

A few items did not immediately find a home, and we will likely add some others as time permits. You can continue to view what’s currently available on the eBay website. Prices range from $10 upward, depending on the item, and will be sold at a fixed price.
