When René filmed his role in this film, it was known only as “Untitled Kelly Reichardt Project”. Now it has appeared at number 12 on The Guardian‘s list of “The 75 films we’re most excited about in 2016” with the title Certain Women. As soon as we hear details of when and where it will be released, we’ll post that information here.

Cartoons for Charity

René has put together a selection of his drawings for people who’ve expressed an interest in them for themselves or as a gift for someone else. In exchange for a donation to charity, René will personally autograph one of these limited-edition prints and mail it to you. DragonCon off René’s schedule

René began feeling under the weather a few days before DragonCon, and therefore had to cancel his appearance there over Labor Day weekend. He extends his regrets and disappointment at not being able to be there in 2015.

DragonCon and Belfast!

René has added two more conventions to his list of public appearances for this autumn:

DragonCon prides itself on being “the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction & fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe!” Events take place in several hotels – the last time René attended, he spent much of his time at the “Walk of Fame” room signing autographs, but also participated in several panels throughout the weekend.

Film & Comic Con Belfast will host a number of guests from film and television, with autograph sessions, photo ops, panels, and an extensive collection of dealers selling all sorts of collectibles and memorabilia.

Crimson Shore, November 10

During the first week of August, René recorded the audiobook version of the latest Pendergast novel by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. Crimson Shore is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2015 – mark your calendar, or preorder now!

Spring 2016: René back on Broadway!

René has been announced as a member of the cast of the upcoming revival of the play She Loves Me, scheduled to begin rehearsals early in 2016. According to an article on Broadway.com, cast members will include “Tony and Olivier winner Jane Krakowski, Tony winner René Auberjonois and Olivier winner Gavin Creel”. The musical is scheduled to open at Studio 54 in early March.
