Cartoons for Charity

René has put together a selection of his drawings for people who’ve expressed an interest in them for themselves or as a gift for someone else. In exchange for a donation to charity, René will personally autograph one of these limited-edition prints and mail it to you. You can read all of the details and find a link to a gallery displaying the cartoons in the “Charity Fundraising” section of René’s Page.

DragonCon off René’s schedule

René began feeling under the weather a few days before DragonCon, and therefore had to cancel his appearance there over Labor Day weekend. He extends his regrets and disappointment at not being able to be there in 2015.

Rene’s Garage Sale: DragonCon Edition!

Much to his disappointment, René had to cancel his trip to Atlanta over Labor Day weekend.

However, he remains committed to raising money for Médecin San Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, and always appreciates the generosity of fans who help him support the lifesaving work of MSF/DWB.

Throughout September, our eBay auction, featuring items personally autographed by René and some of his Star Trek and Broadway theatre colleagues, raised over $550 for MSF/DWB. Thanks very much to everyone who participated!

DragonCon and Belfast!

René has added two more conventions to his list of public appearances for this autumn:

DragonCon – September 4-7, Atlanta, Georgia
Film & Comic Con – 31 October-1 November, Belfast, Ireland

DragonCon prides itself on being “the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction & fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe!” Events take place in several hotels – the last time René attended, he spent much of his time at the “Walk of Fame” room signing autographs, but also participated in several panels throughout the weekend.

Film & Comic Con Belfast will host a number of guests from film and television, with autograph sessions, photo ops, panels, and an extensive collection of dealers selling all sorts of collectibles and memorabilia.
